Through our partnership with a number of Colombian schools, you will have the opportunity to visit Colombia for a year or longer, while working or volunteering as a teacher.

Program Details
Through our partnership with a number of Colombian high schools, you will have the opportunity to come to the capital city of Colombia, Bogotá, to work as a teacher! The program has a minimum duration of one academic year, though preference will be given to applicants who express interest in staying longer than a year. Specific teaching duties will vary based on the needs of the host school.

Program Requirements:

Ability to speak and understand conversational Spanish ​(B1)

Possess a bachelor's degree from the U.S. or Laurea Magistrale from Italy

Experience teaching the subject you intend to teach in Colombia. If you aspire to teach English to non-native speakers, then your experience can include time spent as a tutor or volunteer

The program will have two start dates annually, in September and in January. Exact program dates will vary depending on the needs and academic calendar of the host school. If you are interested, please reach out to us early to help ensure placement.
Program Costs:

The program has a total cost of $750.00 USD, paid in two installments. The first is a registration fee of $100.00, and the second is a program fee of $750.00.
Application Timeline:

We accept program applications year round, though all application materials must be submitted three months before the start of the program. June 1st for September starts, and October 1st for January starts.
