Program Details
This unique program offers you the opportunity to travel to the United States for a three month period between May and September where you will work at a U.S. summer camp as a camp counselor or a support staff member. After the program, you will have the ability to travel around the U.S. for up to 4 weeks!
Requirements & Eligibility

This program is open to citizens of any country

Applicants do not need a U.S. visa to apply to the program. Successful applicants will be granted a J-1 visa

Applicants must be able to meet the financial requirements of the program, including paying all program fees and demonstrating a minimum bank account balance for visa issuance

What's Included?
The program includes:

7 - 9 week paid work opportunity at U.S. summer camp as a camp counselor, or support staff

Earn $2,000 USD or more depending on your level of experience!

​J-1 visa valid for 11 - 13 weeks, allowing for 1 month of travel after camp

Program Dates & Costs
Program Dates:

This program runs annually from May through August. Exact dates will vary based on your contract with the host camp. Availability for this entire period, particularly before an ability to begin before June 10th, will improve the likelihood of a successful placement.
Program Costs:

Program cost varies according to the applicant's country of origin. For European applicants, the program has a total cost of $500.00 USD. For Latin American applicants, the program has a total cost of $350.00

Payments are made in two installments. The first is a registration fee of $75.00, and the second is a program fee of $425.00 for European applicants or $275.00 for Latin American applicants.

We accept applications from August 1st to May 31st. Applications submitted during June and July will be reviewed when we reopen our application process in August.

Summer camps begin to hire staff as soon as September for work the following summer, so we encourage you to apply early!

In addition to helping you plan your summer, applying early will help ensure placement and will allow ample time for visa paperwork and appointment

Complete payment of your $75.00 registration fee.

Our team will send you a link to complete your profile for camps to view
5. Get Hired
Camps interested in your profile will make an offer to hire you for the summer.
6. Pay Program Fee
Complete payment of your program fee.
7. Apply for Visa
Receive your visa documents and apply for your J-1 visa.
8. Book Flights
If your visa application is approved, it's time to book your flights!
9. Travel to U.S.
